The new class of yeast spreads - no longer based on conventional yeasts (also permitted in organic products until 2014), but with a newly developed organic yeast that grows on a nutrient medium comprising organic cereals and soy constituents. This new organic tofu yeast lends a fine melting texture and a wonderfully intensive and yet mild flavour.
